U.S.C.O. has two events on Aug. 9th,- members needed at the Ancestor Fair.

Morning / Afternoon - Aug. 9, 2008 – Okla. Genealogical Society “Ancestral Fair”

9am-4pm - Okla. History Center.  U.S.C.O. will have a booth and members are needed.

Evening   -    Aug. 9, 2008 – “Bring A Friend” Clan Gathering – 6pm. 

"Church of the Savior",   Visitor drawing for gift membership, Door Prizes and Lots of Fun.

Sept. 12, 13, & 14, 2008 –“Tulsa Scottish Festival”– U.S.C.O. members needed at the tent.

U.S.C.O. has two events on Oct. 4th. - members needed to help at each event.

 Oct. 4, 2008 - “Global Fest” Rose State College, 9am-5pm,

 Oct. 4, 2008 – “Czech Festival” at Yukon, OK – all day.

End of Summer Picnic: Oct. 11, 2008 – Clan Gathering – Picnic at Earlywine Park,  This is our annual special Hawaiian Picnic - we will have a contest for the "loudest" or "giddiest" Hawaiian shirt being worn.  We plan to have a Celtic Band, Celtic Dancers, Pipers, and of course, Heavy Athletics Demonstrations.   We will have tents setup to block out as much sun and heat as possible. Bring all the family, lawn chairs, pallets on the ground, umbrellas, and any other outdoor, picnic, items you are use to using.   This is always a big, fun, outdoor, picnic.  We'll have a map and additional information to follow.

With Lots of Fun:  Heavy Athletics Demonstration, Celtic Music, Highland Dance, etc.

The 5^th Annual Oklahoma Solo Piping Debate

 2nd Annual  "Oklahoma Celtic Music & Heritage Festival"

was held on June 20, 21 & 22, 2008

Get your hotel reservations made now.   The Best Western of Stillwater is the Host Hotel for the Festival.  Make sure, if you try to book your reservations at the Best Western, you tell them you want the Oklahoma Celtic Music & Heritage Festival special rate. 

Held again at the wonderful Payne County Fairgrounds -  Stillwater, OK. , "Inside and out of the wind and rain".   Also, plan to stay at the host hotel, the Stillwater Best Western, while attending the festival.  A block of rooms have been reserved, but are going fast.
