United Scottish Clans of Oklahoma ( U.S.C.O. )   

Dedicated to preserving  Scottish and Celtic heritage in Oklahoma, through Education, Genealogical, and Ancestral Research, Festivals, Events, and Clan Gatherings.  

The following provides general information about United Scottish Clans of Oklahoma, (U.S.C.O.) - with Scheduled Dates, Times, & Locations or our Clan Gatherings, Meetings, Festivals, and other Events.  

U.S.C.O. Clan Gatherings are held every 2nd Saturday of each month, at 6:00 pm, at the “Church of the Savior”, 5600 N.W. 63rd St, OKC.  Clan Gatherings consist of Pot Luck Dinner, Silent Auction, Entertainment, & assistance with your Celtic Heritage Research.  Scottish Attire is welcomed, but not required.  Clan Gatherings are always open to your family, whether your Scottish, Irish, and/or Celtic or neither.  Please bring your favorite food dish, salads, and/or dessert, enough for your family and a little bit more for our quests, and come enjoy an evening of food, fun & fellowship.  If you need help in researching your Ancestors or Genealogy, we always have people at the Clan Gatherings to help you in your search.

U. S. C. O. Father's Day Clan Gathering

We had such a success with our Mother's  Day Gathering, we're inviting you to join us for a fun filled evening of celebration and honor to our fathers.    Bring a photo of your father and/or grandfather and tell us about your most memorable remembrance and how they influence your life.   Join us for our Father's Day Gathering at the Church of the Savior this coming June 13, 2009 at 6:00pm.

July 10th, 2009 - 6:00 pm

Celebrate your Independence with U. S. C. O.

Join with U. S. C. O. for our annual indoor/outdoor picnic at the Church of the Savior, at 6:00pm.  U. S. C. O. will supply the meat, buns and fixing's, all you need to bring is  a side dish and/or dessert if possible.  Add this date to your calendar, bring a friend and plan to join us for this good time summer event. =================================================

"Oklahoma Celtic Music & Heritage Festival"

Saturday, June 20 and Sunday, June 21, 2009 - OK CELTIC FESTIVAL  For detailed additional information, go to:  www.okcelticfest.com   Join with U.S.C.O. as we support The Oklahoma Music and Heritage Festival and celebrate our roots in Ireland, Wales, Cornwall, Galacia, Brittany, Scotland,and Isle of Man with an exploration of  the history, dance, culture, and music from the Celtic Nations.   The festival will be held indoors at the Payne County Expo Center, Stillwater, OK.  The festival will include vendors, Scottish Clans, atheletics, livestock, demonstrations, workshops, history exhibits, children's area, sessions, and live music and dance to be featured on three stages.

Get your hotel reservations made now.   The Best Western of Stillwater is the Host Hotel for the Festival.  Make sure, if you try to book your reservations at the Best Western, you tell them you want the Oklahoma Celtic Music & Heritage Festival special rate. 

Held again at the wonderful Payne County Fairgrounds -  Stillwater, OK. , "Inside and out of the wind and rain".   Also, plan to stay at the host hotel, the Stillwater Best Western, while attending the festival.  A block of rooms have been reserved, but are going fast.

Do You Need Genealogical or Ancestral Research Assistance?

Genealogy research assistance : Please let us know if we can be of assistance in learning about Scottish History, Heritage, and Culture, in Oklahoma.  Also, contact us if you need help in either beginning your own Scottish Genealogical research or just additional general Scottish research.   Research assistance is made available from 5:00pm to 6:00pm, prior to the start of the Clan Gathering meeting.  U.S.C.O. is dedicated to helping you find your genealogy roots.

If you're not a member of  (U.S.C.O.), but your interested in finding out about your possible Scottish or Celtic heritage, we look forward to having you as our guest at any of the Clan Gatherings. 

U.S.C.O. Monthly Board Meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7 pm, also help at the "Church of the Savior"Monthly board meetings are required for all officers and board members.   All members of  U.S.C.O. are encouraged and welcomed to attend and offer their suggestions. 

U.S.C.O. Membership Dues  --  We invite you to become a member or renew you current membership to U.S.C.O.  Your membership dues helps to fund the activities of U.S.C.O., which promote Scottish and Celtic Heritage culture in Oklahoma.   Membership Dues are $10 for a Single Membership, or $15 for a Family Membership.   Membership dues, can be mailed to the attention of:  Lee Campbell,  U.S.C.O.
